- [Bio](https://kathysaksonmusic.com/bio/): Born and raised in the city of “Brotherly Love,” I earned two undergraduate classical music degrees at Temple University in Philadelphia, before the current jazz program there kicked into high gear. Surrounded by a jazz playing family, in a great music city like Philly, I sought out studies with jazz pianist/author Jimmy Amadie, and performed in the greater metropolitan Philadelphia and south Jersey areas. After transplanting to Florida, I earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Florida, studying jazz piano, arranging and composing with Per Danielsson.
